Edited internet and instructional video's, specializing in blue and green screen compositing. Edited on Final Cut Pro. Also assigned as a project manager, overseeing three different shifts, a video archive library, and media management. Worked with a variety of video formatts, including digibeta, beta, sd minidv, mpeg, mov, avi, and streaming video. Also assisted as a teleprompter operator on occasion....

How would you describe your time at Salt Lake Community College...?
Responsible for the overall coordination and management of all student TV productions. Advised on student producers on rundowns, scripts and timing for news programs. Mentored students in producing multi-camera shoots, from pre-production to final DVD. Created a Production Bible outline for students to utilize when managing and producing shows. Configured Control Room, Editing Bays, Radio Booth, and Sound Booths, converted from Analog to Digital systems. Designed sets, camera and light plots for news programs, interviews and live debates. Designed and taught three ascending tutorials for Final Cut Pro, and one for Cool Edit Pro. Tutored students on principles of editing, lighting, sound and writing for mass media. Created a photo inventory of all equipment for cross-referencing in a database. Kept records of equipments check in/out, created tracking forms, signs, and sign-ups for edit bays, etc. Organized equipment room for maximum space and order. Created a video library/archive of media produced in the SMC for five years....

How would you describe your time at Southern Utah University?
Trained in Theater Acting & Directing, with special emphasis on film acting. Also trained in many styles of Dance, including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Folk, and Ballroom Dance. I toured with the SUU Ballroom team, and was later asked to sub for the UofU Ballroom Team - competing in national and international competitions. Ii minored in Broadcast Communications where I learned television production and journalism. I had the great opportunity to make my first student film, "Tragedy of Romance", a one hour film about a college boy learning to come to terms with his past and find love for an abusive father. He falls in love with a dancer, who has some dark secrets herself, and the two have to push through all the emotional baggage to find our what really matters to them. The project was unique to the school because both the Theatre and Communications departments collaborated to make it happen. The cedar city community did a lot to support us....

How would you describe your time at salt lake community college?
I took all my General Education classes here. I found a love for the Theater and Acting. I began to take Dance to supplement my acting training, and grew to love it. I took classes in television production and mass media communication. I began to work with the SLCC Dance Company on various dance video projects, including an experimental video we called "Crossing the Z-Axis" in which we mixed live dance, with projected video of dancers doing an interactive performance....
