How would you describe your time at Darla Records?

I had been on recording artist on Darla Records for seven years, so when the owners needed a full time GM, they called me. We trusted each other, and I understood the business, so it made sense. I was also looking for a break from New York City, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity.

In the short time I've been here, I have learned a tremendous amount of invaluable information about running a record label, and I've worked harder than I've ever worked in my life. The experience has been truly worthwhile and enlightening.

However, after nearly a year at this position, I realize I miss the higher level of social interaction in my previous jobs, the presence of an entire team of individuals, and the communication between management and staff. I also miss the environment of a faster paced city, such as New York or Los Angeles....
