I am currently working as the creator of a pilot for a cable show. It's still very much in its infancy, but I dream of the day in which I'll read an article on Variety about it! It's a compelling story told in an optimistic, but honest, manner regarding a topic very dear to me. I feel an enormous amount of pressure to bring to life characters which are multi-dimensional, likeable, real and charming. I also feel responsible for presenting their world accurately, a task easier said than done! The next stages will involve working and studying closely with actors/writers/directors in order to create a smoother transition from paper to reel.......
