If you could meet one person in the entertainment industry, who would it be?
I admire so many people that it's almost impossible for me to choose one person. I've met and learned from so many wonderful and helpful people, most of which are not household names or obvious answers to this question. But I think in terms of whose brain I'd like to pick, or who I'd like to hang out with to suck up some of their talent, success, or genius, it would have to be Tina Fey. I tell people I want to be her when I grow up, but essentially I aspire to have the kind of career she has. To be a successful female writer/producer would be the ultimate dream. I think we share some similar ways or writing or ways of phrasing certain things and she has a writing 'voice' that I greatly admire. I would love to hang out with Tina for a while to get her take on becoming so successful and earning respect as a smart and funny female multi-hyphenate....

How would you describe your time at CBS?
A lot of fun and very educational. I not only learned how to deal with a wide variety of personalities (supervisors, peers, audiences, crew, talent), but this job forces one to become authoritative and exhibit leadership and decision-making skills very quickly.

How would you describe your time at All My Children?
AMC was a great work environment. All of the producers and crew members were willing to answer any and all questions, as well as let me sit in on meetings, obvserve in the control room and on set, and give me important tasks to complete. This experience really taught the interns what it would be like to be a production assistant or other entry level crew member on a network soap opera....

How would you describe your time at NBC Universal?
NBC was absolutely amazing. They gave me such a high level of responsibility and trusted me more than I expected them to as an intern. I was given opportunities to go to photo shoots, different show sets, parties, and other special events, which were invaluable learning experiences. I was also given various writing tasks, such as talent and executive biographies and episode blurbs, which interns are usually not asked to do. Along with heavy office work and various interactions with talent, I was also asked to serve as a "publicist" for a special event when one member of the visiting media was without a network guide....

How would you describe your time at Malcolm in the Middle?
Out of all of my internships and jobs, "Malcolm in the Middle" gave me the most freedom and opportunity to observe. I was always welcome on set, in the editing room, and elsewhere around the CBS Radford lot to see how everyone on the different productions function individually and as a team. My duties in the writers' office were fairly limited, but I relished the opportunity to get to know everyone and see how a real writers' room functions on a daily basis....

How would you describe your time at Greer Lange Talent Agency?
As my first foray into the entertainment business, even before college, Greer Lange Talent Agency was a great place to start. The whole staff was very nurturing and taught me a lot about what goes on at a major talent agency. I served basically as the front desk receptionist and greeted prospective talent, answered phones, and updated the talent database daily. I also assisted the agents in phoning talent and casting agents to set up auditions and bookings. They gave me a great deal of responsibility and gave me a great learning opportunity....

How would you describe your time at Ithaca College?
Amazing - I learned so much in and out of the classroom. I was involved all over campus as chair of the Student Activities Board's Film Committee - responsible for bringing films to campus, keeping track of our budget, promotions, and controlling our staff. I also played a number of roles in Ithaca College Television programs, including camera operator, audio and set assistant and writer....
