Other than your current job, what other job in the entertainment industry do you dream of doing?

I am an aspiring director, and I would love nothing better in the world than to direct movies that are adaptations of schifi and fantasy books and games. I have already started a long list of adaptable books and games that I believe from now until the next decade would be the right time to release for the public.
I also love to do fight choreogpahy and have already done some minor work in that department. I have a long history of martial arts and fight choreography background starting with the Texas Renaissance Festival where I was a fighter for several seasons, trained under the Society for American Fight Director's SW District Representative, Ann Harlan and Master of Defense and German Martial Arts Specialist, Alan Hutton. I went on to partake in training under a 400 year old Japanese family system of Nihongo Jujutsu under the Himizu Ke Sentoho and Nimori Ryu Heiho. There I logged over 750 hours of training in the full spectrum of combat, from modern self defense, weapon/gun disarms, arresting techniques, battlefield tactics, grappling, and feudal warfare. I had to stop my training when I went off to college where I got my BS in Film from Full Sail University. During my time there I started the school club: Full Sail Combatant's Guild where I taught fight choreography for film as well as choreographed for several student and independent projects. Upon graduating, I have moved out to Burbank, and have picked up some additive Hong Kong Style fight choreography training under Robert G. Goodwin, one of the Martial Arts trainers for the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as well as sword fighting consultant for Rob Roy and trained Christian Bale in fight choreography prior to Batman Begins.
Other than that I enjoy editing and script supervising.

Recommendations

Mr. Eden was hired by us as Script Supervisor on our short film. Though we had never worked with him before, he turned out to be a great find -- receptive, attentive, professional and resourceful -- so much so that we would definitely use him again if chance permits. I would recommend a conversation with Chris before any hiring decision is made. Kurt Mercer Shoebox Bobby Productions
