How would you describe your time at RescueTime?
As a founder and the Chief Information Officer at RescueTime ( http://www.rescuetime.com ) my responsibilities are pretty broad. I've done everything from customer service to development, business planning and budgeting and pitching to venture capitalists and investors. Currently my main responsibilities are as the primary developer of the Ruby on Rails web application and web service. I also helped pitch the product to Y Combinator, who selected us for funding for their Winter 2008 session....

You can see a lot of what I did just looking at my profile. :) For example, networking was my innovation project, tags came from Jobby (my company which was acquired by Jobster), similar people - which is powered by tags, and much of edit profile and the customized home page. Most recently I was the lead software developer of the PoweredBy Platform team, managing 4 direct reports and reporting to the CTO....

Sr. Engineer on the XML Online Tools team. Implemented subsystem performance monitor with SLO based alarm generation and statistics tracking. The subsystem monitor runs as a passive listener process generating usage and performance statistics on customer transaction data of up to 3 million hits per day.
Implement Web Services XML Tools for UPS tracking, shipping, etc. Responsible for development of QA Workbench test harness system which runs distributed, multi-threaded tests using SOAP and XML Beans....
