Ahmet Ertegun, RIP - He knew how to balance art & business. He was a true purveyor of artist development and knew how to be successful while keeping the priorities of the artist in check. How would you describe your time at Atlantis Music Conference a...?

I started working with the Atlantis Music Conference and Festival back in 2006 to help them redesign their sponsor acquisition campaign. In 2007 I helped to reshape the conference model for it's 10th anniversary celebration including creating a whole new branding experience for the conference both online and the live event. This year I am continuing to help develop the brand and marketing initiatives to acquire more sponsors, attendees and showcasing talent. How would you describe your time at Berklee College of Music?

This was an incredible experience to see just how much raw talent there actually is out there - I played with, hung out and studied with musicians that will blow anyone's mind. Attending Berklee College of Music for a summer session gave me my first experiences in playing with real musicians, learning theory, developing practice disciplines, learning how to listen and play with others all while pushing my knowledge of musical styles, techniques, tips and tricks. Some of my fondest memories were studying with the great Tommy Campbell, doing some of my first professional recordings and performing live to large audiences.
