Do you attend networking events? If so, which ones?

I attend networking events in the Bay Area on a very frequent basis, as it is part of my job to cover such mixers and interview guest speakers and attendees. Such events include Lunch 2.0, STIRR, SF Beta, and more. Occasionally, I will travel to LA to cover events there as well.
