How would you describe your time at Focus Features (NBC Universal)?

During my first year at Focus Features I completed a Final Cut Pro editing course. I learned how to digitize video, input images, and fundamental editing skills. I became more helpful to the in-house editor by cataloging sound effects in Final Cut Pro, finding and licensing images, and setting up voice over talent for our campaigns. With labeled and alphabetized binders our extensive collection of trailers and television spots remain organized. In order to keep the creative and media teams on one-accord I created an excel spreadsheet to track MPAA responses to our A/V campaigns. My good relationships with vendors are built on promptness and clear communication. Music licenses are paid quicker because they are immediately entered into SAP and submitted to the finance department. I continue to work on getting all invoices paid on time while keeping my department in and under budget....
