How would you describe your time at University of Southern Cali...?
I began my Masters in 1991, then was lured into becoming a development exec. I returned to USC and finished my M.A. in screenwriting in 2005. I learned nearly nothing, perhaps because I'd already written a screenwriting book and had sold both feature and TV scripts before going back, but the workshop atmosphere was weak -- untrained screenwriters writing bad scripts and getting them critiqued by other untrained screenwriters....
