What's your ideal work environment?

My dream job right now does not require a lot of time in an office. I am not opposed to an office, but most of what I would be doing doesn't happen there, i.e., writing a script on my MacBook at a cafe or park.

But realistically, my ideal environment is populated with like-minded and enthusiastic people. I do not want to work next to people who hate their jobs, hate their boss, or hate their life. I want to feel energized when I wake up in the morning, thinking about what I will accomplish that day. As retail jobs go, it was relatively standard. I made some good friends, but this job was only ever a temporary income until I could move to Los Angeles and then find a job in the industry.

My learning experience was 90% extracurricular. Many of my classes felt redundant or out-dated, and there was too little technical training and preparation for the professional field offered. How would you describe your time at illinois central college?

Most of my education here was involved in prerequisits and required courses, but the major-specific courses I was able to take were very enjoyable. I was invited by a professor to join five other selected students to create a short program from scratch.
