If you could meet one person in the entertainment industry, who would it be?
As a Screenwriter myself, a 'filmmaker', in my mind, is one who is able to write and direct their vision on screen. To me, the best examples of that of the current landscape are luminaries of the form like Paul Haggis (whose work is absolutely pristine...), M Night Shyamalan (whose "Sixth Sense" was breathtaking), Alfonso Cuaron (who knows characters backwards and forwards and every which way in between, constructs them in phenomenal ways, enabling him to effectively do any movie with deft hand), Guillermo Del Toro (Fantasy Mastermind who made dark magic with "Pan's Labyrinth"), Brad Bird (can do classic and contemporary, style and substance; all at the same time), and Andrew Stanton (whose "Finding Nemo" was easily one of the best films of the last 10 years). All of these filmmakers I feel I could have a great deal to learn from, and it is my hope and wish that I would be able to speak, and possibly even work with them in some capacity:)...

Great, learning from the agents about the way the industry runs is essential and a great starting point for anyone who wants to write or direct in the industry. How would you describe your time at Senza Pictures?
Senza Pictures is a great company run by some of the best producers I've ever met. Like some of the best producers, they really showrun their work from working with the writers, to selecting the director that they think will be able to do the material justice and not just use it as a technical showcase. Senza gets good results because they really time and polish projects in a way that lets the work speak for itself....

How would you describe your time at New Line Cinema?
New Line Cinema is the most successful independent movie studio in Hollywood History, and after being there for a few months as an intern, it's not hard to see why. Learning from people who absolutely know their jobs inside and out, and where everyone does their absolute best to bring projects from concept to completion, knowing exactly what role their play in the process. Furthermore, it's a film company that was actually founded and is still run by a visionary filmmaker, and as such, it's nice to see personal touches come through the studio's work to the viewer, and living proof that one's vision, determination and talent can make wonders....

How would you describe your time at Copacetic Pictures?
Interning for an independent company is great, but working for an iconoclast like indie filmmaker Doug Block, and his producing partner Lori Cheatle was an experience. Learning the other end of the spectrum of filmmaking, it was a useful tool learning how to use the realm of digital outreach to engage fans and audience through things like MySpace and working with distribution companies on getting the product fans want in their hands. Two great filmmaking forces and a wonderful experience learning under two people who do film their way....

How would you describe your time at School of Visual Arts, New ...?
It was great! With working industry professionals teaching you in class, you go to their class during the week, and then on weekends, you go see the movies they are involved in at the multiplex! In addition to competitive classmates, a variety of screenwriting and supplementary courses (like film and literature, adaptation of the novel, and character creation concepts to name a few...), great guests lectures (from Hollywood Heavyweights to Indie Film Mavens) and workshops, School of Visual Arts gives a wide scope of opportunities and a focused education that gives you a solid background to do good work....
