Cornell University Cooperative Extension Television Producer:
I was directly responsible for AV equipment, program content, script development, shooting, editing, administrative and financial functions of the video department. Productions included broadcast public service announcements, cable TV News shows, educational videos, and satellite video-conferencing programs. Trained and assisted educators in use of AV presentation equipment, as on-camera talent, writing and creating award-winning AV programming for Cornell University and other land grant colleges. Additional responsibilities: maintenance of equipment, interactive CD/DVD creation, audio recording for Radio and TV, VO narration, field news reporting and studio anchor. Assisted in developing marketing strategies, county, state and federal government and client relations, as well as working with local officials in writing franchise agreements. (1977 -2002).

Independent Producer : Wrote, produced and directed nine nationally-distributed instructional videos, including the best seller "Techniques and Tricks for the Video User," teaching persuasive camera work, advanced editing, special effects, lighting tricks and proper methods for reading waveform and vector scopes. Contracted by the Department of Justice to produce and direct a series of training videos teaching Dept. of Justice agents' protective service foot formations, crowd control, motorcade procedures, and terrorist assault prevention used to protect the president, government diplomats and other VIPs. Writer/Cameraman/Editor: TV commercials, animations and independent video productions, special event video, and web-related media. (1980-2008)

AWARDS: Winner of the Silver ACE Award for regularly-scheduled NY news television programs. Best Film winner 2000 LI International Film Festival for "Teleporter-Time and Again." Best Video MGM award 1984, presented by Alan Thicke and Arsenio Hall, for a comedy segment (wrote, produced and performed) for the "Thicke of the Night" television show.
