Shading up to 7 cameras per show which are a mix of Sony and Ikegami. Build and balance a 20' jib, troubleshoot audio, RTS, and PL issues.

How would you describe your time at GoTV Networks?

Temporary contract assignment to come into the facility and re-do all the lighting and camera shading to improve the Chromakey work being done. I also tackled the audio issues within the 2 studios and built a 3rd shooting space in a corner office to shoot band interviews in a casual non-studio environment. Worked with robotic camera controls on the stages. Also implemented a monthly inventory of expendables and an equipment sign out sheet for remote shoots. Before I left I trained the Producers on the proper lighting levels to maintain a good Chromakey and wrote a proposal for new studio equipment to better utilize their facility.... read more

I entered College as a declared Architecture major because the School of Architecture is a 5 year program and one has to test into the TV / Film Program in the 2nd year. I also took Technical Theater Design classes which taught me about lighting and rigging as well as Photography classes through the Journalism Department. While at Kent I was involved in WKSU TV & FM as an on-air talent and part of the production staff. WKSU is the PBS and NPR affiliate and are paid staff positions.... read more
