Do you attend networking events? If so, which ones?

Networking should not be limited to events, it should be in every part of your regular interactions - going to concerts is a great way to network in the music industry, for example. I try to get out to networking events when I can, be them conventions and conferences, out as a professional mentor, etc.

Some interesting ones I was involved with and enjoyed include: I moderated industry panels and spoke at the CMJ Music Marathon (1999-2001, 2003-2005, 2007), the Intercollegiate Broadcasters Society annual convention (2003-2008) and spoke at the New Jersey Independent Musicians Conference (2003-2004). Former participant in the University of Hartford Music and Entertainment Student Association (MEISA) speaker 1998-1999 and former local chapter association member 1996-1998.

I am open to attending any industry events. I am also available as a speaker, panelist or professional mentor. If you know of any interesting events feel free to pass them along. Please contact me if you have a need for a speaker, panelist, moderator, mentor or other atendee.

also studied a certification in US Law & Methodologies. Both of these certifications were part of NY CLE optional coursework for current Bar Certified lawyers. I finished both programs while going to school part time, working full time and doing freelance work on the side.
