What are the top three things affecting our industry today?

1. Economic Evolution -- the US recession of the 90's created a mainstream for Independent Filmmaking, which has inevitably been absorbed and corrupted by the mainstream. What new adaptations inside and outside of the industry will this decade's economic realities bring about?

1. Online
Distribution -- it's far more than an issue of revenue-sharing. Once the money-squabbling is done, people can begin to focus on the unlimited creative potential of such an exciting, elastic medium.

2. Technological Innovation -- Wireless, Digital, Virtual. These were Sci-Fi staples 30 years ago, before the cultural crush of technology brought them to every office and home. Hollywood was at the forefront of that momentous change, and it must keep its eye firmly fixed on the horizon for the next great tech revolution.
