How would you describe your time at The Black Hills Playhouse?

While at the BHP, I stage managed three productions. One of which was a musical, one of which was a world premiere, and one was a straight show. Living out here in the middle of a forest made me appreciate the art that I am here to do. I have experienced sick actors, a sick stage manager, equity actors, primative facilities, and communal living. Yet, I remain positive and anxious to continue my stage management career.... read more

Working at the Pavilion, I have learned so much more about the business aspect of ticket sales and theatre. The people were fantastic and I really feel that my people skills really flourished here. My theatre knowledged helped me inform the customers on their purchases.

How would you describe your time at Augustana College, Sioux Fa...?

At Augustana College, I really found my true calling in theatre. I came in as an actor and had so many opportunities to do other things. After stage managing a musical, I realized that stage management is where my talents could best be used. My time at Augie, as we call it, was invaluable.
