I would say keep your head to the sky and don't take anything personal. This is a crazy business, and there's no need to think you're not important. Everyone starts at the bottom and you have to trudge through early on, but once you get to where you want to be, it is sweet.

I was on the campus activities board in college, booking comedians for campus entertainment. From that I was able to make contacts with the agents I was workign with, one of which worked at WMA. She recommended me to the trainee program, and now here I am.
