What are the three best things about working at Supplemental Health Care?

I had the ability to use my personality and expertise that I established in my lifetime to entangle my clients and employees. I know that the things I did on a daily basis have a huge impact and that I made a difference. I was constantly "out" and networking with people and used the marketing skills that I learned to further my career. I was able to see that that those efforts were successful and appreciated by everyone that they touched.... read more

What did you learn along the way at Supplemental Health Care?

I have been able to learn that flexibility is key. While you may hope or desire something to have a certain and specific outcome, you need to be prepared for that not to happen as originally expected. I learned that the majority of people want to succeed and can, if given the proper tools. I also recognized that I am the manager that I would want as my own and that I can use each day as a lesson to make things better for both myself and my employees. The most valuable lesson that I learned in my time with Supplemental Health Care is that if a company does not operate with ethics or values, but you do, that you need to remove yourself from the environment - even if you are massively successful at your position, well respected by your peers and valued by your clientele. There are companies that will value your expertise and knowledge, you need to work where you are appreciated. Life is just too short.... read more

What advice would you give to a new employee at Supplemental Health Care?

The key to success with this company is to be knowledgeable about your subject matter and "in the habit" with the steps necessary to achieve operational excellence. Always do your job with the core ethics of honesty, integrity, candor, accountability and excellence - even if your senior management team does not. Come to work as though each day is your first and know that the things that you do each day make a difference. Regardless of what management states to you or threatens your job stability with, remember that you are a key component to the company's success and that you are appreciated for your efforts by your clients and external field talent.... read more

How did you find your job at Supplemental Health Care?

I was contacted by a top-notch recruiter for this opportunity. After numerous interviews, lengthy skill tests and verification of my previous employment abilities, education and professional references, I was offered the position to start with Supplemental Health Care. I worked with this company long enough to realize that I am a highly valuable employee that was not being utilized to my full potential, respected or covered under an umbrella of ethics or values. Despite my success and relationship sthat I had the opportunity to build, I left to work for a company that was successful both inside AND out. It was a good learning experience for me. I can take the knowledge of things that I was exposed to and translate them into what not to do in future employment positions.... read more
