Do what I did... just do your job.
There's no real secret to it. It's just that plain and simple. Because at the end of the day, it's about the work. Expectations are always high of course, but Mary Micucci is a very fair-minded employer. Of course, it helps if you have a "service heart"; one who does more than their job requires - a person who gives an essentialist style of gift or gifting, which is rarely displayed and is the truest form of "the experience" and is the phenomenon of the great service experience, itself.

Experiencing a phenomenal hospitality service experience - when typically what you get these days is quite ordinary - and having the experience delivered in a very special, inexplicably personalistic way... leaving you feeling stirred, inspired and uplifted; it is the greatest expression of the truest form of a "service heart".
It is delivered or shared by what's known as sense datum or sensation: in the philosophical doctrine of phenomenalism, it's known as a "sensation" or a mental impression.
It's also called "sense memory"; when the five senses recall subconscious sensory impressions previously experienced.

Not being able to normally articulate it - as the receiver, you actually feel a brief deja vu-type, deep, strong sense that something wonderfully familiar has somehow just happened - "something familiar" that has been forgotten, yet stored in your subconscious; a familiar feeling that allows you to revisit a faint and distant remembrance (memory) of a unique and special "something" that has just touched you, once again... but in a brand new and extraordinary way.

What's cool is that it is truly real. And, that the experience can actually be transferred - whereby, the receiver can actually "feel it" or experience it. Thus, feeling and receiving the ultimate gift from one with a true "service heart".

I learned early on that ACM was the place to be. Starting my catering career at (now defunct) Ambrosia Catering, their employees talked about past and upcoming gigs with Mary all the time. Determined to work for the best, I tracked down the ACM office location, phoned to recieve new employee candidate instructions, went to the ACM offices and signed on. I followed ACM proceedure, phoning weekly, and eventually I was hired to work my first ACM party, a Warner Bros. Music Holiday Party....
