The top three things that are affecting my industry are globalization, consolidation, and the secondary market. The live entertainment business has been global for quite sometime. However our climate today has started to focus on emerging markets such as China and India. As the disposable income grows in those countries the opportunity to address that business with modern ticketing solutions grows. Consolidation is a natural extension of globalization. As American businesses expand overseas acquisition makes it easier to do business where purchase methods and cultural norms are vastly different. Finally capturing the dollars on the secondary or resale market represents a tremendous financially opportunity. Making it easier for consumers to buy and sell tickets by any means they desire addresses the dynamic way people buy goods and services today.
