If you could meet one person in the entertainment industry, who would it be?
As a Screenwriter myself, a 'filmmaker', in my mind, is one who is able to write and direct their vision on screen. To me, the best examples of that of the current landscape are luminaries of the form like Paul Haggis (whose work is absolutely pristine...), M Night Shyamalan (whose "Sixth Sense" was breathtaking), Alfonso Cuaron (who knows characters backwards and forwards and every which way in between, constructs them in phenomenal ways, enabling him to effectively do any movie with deft hand), Guillermo Del Toro (Fantasy Mastermind who made dark magic with "Pan's Labyrinth"), Brad Bird (can do classic and contemporary, style and substance; all at the same time), and Andrew Stanton (whose "Finding Nemo" was easily one of the best films of the last 10 years). All of these filmmakers I feel I could have a great deal to learn from, and it is my hope and wish that I would be able to speak, and possibly even work with them in some capacity:)
