Do you attend networking events? If so, which ones?

Sure! I find they are a great way to get exposure to a variety of people in a variety of industries. It's not just about the business card and resume swap, but hearing the perspectives of others with varied backgrounds. And soon you realize how small the world is and that you know more people than you though!
